Borders are the gateway to nations . They are the first and last line of defense in keeping out unwanted elements and preserving National Resources . Borders can be a meeting point of commerce as well as a strategic demarcation of sovereignty.
In the 21st century, crime and terrorism seek to move people, goods, and resources across borders- often exploiting legitimate flows of traffic, and other times exploiting the remoteness of a border . If these elements enter or exit countries they have the potential to threaten and end that nation’s stability, economy and security.

BORDER Security Components
Sensor Suites – AIS’s sensor platform architecture accommodates a wide variety of sensors.
- Radars including ground and marine surveillance
- EElectro Optical systems including Long Range, Laser illuminated cameras, PTZ day/night and thermal cameras with IR illuminators
- Video content Analysis including Video Motion Detection, Non-Motion Detection and License Plate Recognition
- Fence sensors including Vibration based coax and fiber, buried pressure based optical fiber, Virtual tripwire (bi-static microwave and IR laser)

Data Fusion Module –A comprehensive solution to the challenges of Multi-Sensor/Multi-Target Tracking. It generates a high quality Unified Situation Picture, providing stable and continuous tracking of all targets detected while avoiding false or multiple tracking of all targets detected while avoiding false or multiple track generation in hash environments. The Data Fusion Module provides accurate estimations of target position, dynamics and other attributes, along with timely incorporation of radar detection, operator inputs and external system inputs, as well as automatic identification to the Situation Picture by integration of identification system data, which automatically focuses on the subject target.
Command and Control- The AIS Command and Control Center has a hierarchical based architecture that receives the sensor output via Ethernet Protocol. Data received is automatically fused and presented in a Geographical Information System Awareness Picture that supports decision making capabilities. Transmission media is adapted to the local infrastructure and topographic conditions, and may consist of fiber-optics, cable or wireless links. The unified Situational Awareness Picture is distributed to mobile C&C stations to support decision making in real time and allow blue force tracking and mobile video transmission during action.
Secure TM Security Array Planning System- A Unique automatic designing tool for effective sensor deployment. The system provides the optimal location of the sensors, enabling efficient coverage with minimal resources.
Border Guard-Vehicle recognition sensors combined with the AIS intelligence system that analyzes vehicle traffic data in real time, generating alerts for any illegal or suspicious activity on national borders. Its intelligent algorithms push only filtered, relevant data to the operators, enabling them to focus on real threats in real time.
